Ultimate Contouring with Beauty UK

Contouring has to be one of the most popular things in the world of beauty right now. Every brand from drugstore to high end seems to be releasing their own specific contouring products, so whether you like creams or powders, there's something out there for every budget and style.

Beauty UK have released the Ultimate Contour Chubby Sticks which are available in four totally unique shades so you can really achieve your desired contouring goals. Contouring chubby sticks are very well known in the beauty world these days so its lovely to see a great brand like Beauty UK putting their own spin on the product. The chubby sticks are identical to the Sweet Cheeks Blush Sticks which I absolutely adore and reviewed earlier this year, so I had nothing but high hopes for the new contouring set.

The concept and design of the chubby sticks is great, they're easy to use when you're in a rush or if you're a beginner and they really do make the process of contouring a lot easier than it may seem. The product has a rounded tip and is the perfect size for those areas of need such as the forehead and cheekbones, you can simply swipe the product on and blend with your fingertips to achieve a gorgeous, natural look. Start gently with the product and add more gradually, remember its much easier to build than it is take away!

In terms of shades the kit includes two shades for contouring and two shades for highlighting, all of which will work really well on very pale and darker complexions, there really is something for everyone. Included in the kit you have No.1 Medium Contour a lighter and more warm toned brown shade that works really nice to bronze the skin as well as contour, then there is the shade No.2 Dark Contour a cooler toned darker shade of brown. Onto the highlighting shades there is No.3 Beige Highlight which is matte and No.4 Shimmer Highlight which I think is my personal favourite, the shade is beautiful and gives my skin such a dewy glow.

When it comes to quality and pigmentation the product really doesn't disappoint, although the darker shades can seem a little scary on initial application, they blend into the skin like a dream. The formula is creamy, blendable and soft like silk meaning you can apply more than one layer without the worry of patchiness or build up of colour. I've been really impressed with the longevity of these cream products, I don't believe you need to set them with a powder to ensure they last all day however of course this is individual to different skin types and daily activities!

Overall the chubby sticks are easy to use, definitely do the job they claim and are super affordable at just £4.99 for all four shades available directly from Beauty UK.
