New Year Beauty Wish List

Happy New Year! I really can't believe we are now in 2016, it feels so crazy, I have no idea where last year went. I realise that we have only just experienced Christmas and the Boxing Day sales but I actually have a New Year Wish List already, full of things I'd like to pick up over the next few weeks or months. I thought seeing as everything on my list is beauty related, I would show you guys the things I am lusting over.

First up on my wish list is the oh so famous NARS Laguna Bronzer, a product I've already had twice and have smashed twice. I didn't think I was the most clumsy person on earth but turns out I am! I really miss how lovely this bronzer is, so natural on the skin and the shade is beautiful for giving you a gorgeous glow. I am definitely going to spend some of my Christmas savings on treating myself to this bronzer again and I will wrap it in bubble wrap or something to ensure it stays in one piece!

One beauty/skincare brand that I am yet to fully experience is L'Occitane and that is mainly because their products can be quite expensive but I have tried a selection of their hand creams which were absolutely lovely. I've got my eye on their Comforting Shea Skincare Duo as I really want to treat my skin to something new this year, Shea is really beneficial to dry skin and during the first few months of the year my skin will definitely be craving some love and hydration. The set includes a full size of the Shea Cleansing Oil and the Shea Ultra Rich Comforting Cream which sound so divine and perfect for my skin. L'Occitane sell all sorts of skincare duos and other sets like this which you can find here, there is something for every skin type or to treat whatever needs you require.

Another product I am desperate to try is one of the new Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Eyeshadow Palettes, in the shade Cappuccino Nudes. I actually think these are slightly overpriced at £14.99 for such a small drugstore eyeshadow palette but this probably won't stop me buying it! The palette contains eight beautiful shades that just look like they will really compliment my blue eyes, there are a couple of other shades available in the palette range but this is definitely the one I am lusting over.

I absolutely love products by the brand NYX so when I saw the NYX Wonder Stick whilst browsing Very.co.uk I knew it was a product I needed to try. I have recently become slightly addicted to contouring, it is my new favourite thing to try new tools and products, shades and tones, to create beautifully sculpted cheek bones, I may not be a pro at it just yet but I am getting there! The Wonder Stick is a cream product that is available in four different shades, I think the lightest available would work for me and at a price of just £12.99 this is a great budget friendly product.

Last but not least I'd also really like to try the new L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist which is now available from Boots. I thoroughly enjoy makeup setting sprays and do find myself using it every time I wear makeup, I feel as though they just lock everything into place and remove any powdery residue from the skin. My favourite Urban Decay has just recently run out and on the hunt for a more budget friendly alternative I spotted this and it looks really good, I also really like the price of just £7.99. I've tried the L'Oreal Infallible foundation and really liked that so I do have high hopes for the fixing mist, lets hope its in stock when I pop to Boots this week!
