March Beauty Favourites

This year is going crazy fast so far, slow down, I don't wanna turn 21! I've really been enjoying writing my monthly favourites posts lately, I feel like there have been so many products to share it just makes it so much more enjoyable. This month has gone so quickly but I am super excited for Easter, the best time of year for anyone who loves chocolate as much as me ;-). This month I tried out a few new things and picked out a couple of old favourites!

Lets start with Cocoa Brown, a brand that has completely won me over in terms of fake tan, something that I was completely terrified of a few years ago. Fake tan has never really worked for me, being an eczema sufferer it just always seemed to look patchy and terrible. After trying the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan its safe to say I am hooked and I find myself using this week after week. I like to apply in the evening and wash off in the morning for a real bronze glow, the colour is stunning and can be built up from a hint of brown to a deeper more defined look. To go alongside the tan another favourite has been the Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip Oil Free Moisturiser. I have spent hours in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco you name it looking for a moisturiser that is oil free and will also work on my sensitive, allergy prone skin, I eventually came to terms with the fact that there was just nothing on the market for me. The Cocoa Brown moisturiser is amazing its so light on the skin yet keeps me feeling hydrated all day long, as well as keeping my tan looking perfect for longer.

Another absolute gem this month has been the rediscovery of my Zoeva 110 face shape brush, after receiving this for Christmas I couldn't decide what to use it for and right now, its a complete obsession for concealer. I was and still do love using my beauty blender to achieve a really flawless concealer finish but you can also achieve the most beautiful look with this brush. I love how dense the bristles are meaning you can really push the product into place, instead of blending it away all over the place.

After watching Zoella use the Soap & Glory Lid Stuff in What's Nude on her YouTube channel, I knew it was something I had to invest in. Luckily a few weeks ago I picked the little quad up in a 3 for 2 offer and I've been using it ever since. The quality of these eyeshadows is insanely good, they are so buttery and blend effortlessly, something I strive for in a good eyeshadow, I can't stand those ones that just take hours to blend! With four beautiful shades included, three of which are completely matte and the one shimmer being very similar to the shade Satin Taupe by MAC you really can't go wrong. I absolutely love this palette, I have been using the deep brown shade on my brows and through the crease of my eye, then a small amount of the dusky pink all over the lid, it really is beautiful and for £10.00 its a total bargain too.

When it comes to concealer, there are very few that I find to completely win me over, as far as I know I don't think I've yet found anything as good as the well loved Collection Lasting Perfection, but I'm still on the hunt! Recently I've been pairing together the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer which is more of a salmon toned shade, with the L'Oreal True Match Touche Magique Concealer as this one is more yellow toned and works wonders on redness and under the eyes. I've definitely been enjoying this concealer duo more this time of year as the products feel so lightweight on my skin, as I'm getting older my eye area is beginning to look more tired, dry and fine lines are appearing so it's important for me to keep any product around this area to a minimum.

I also finally got my hands on the gorgeous Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights which has been out of stock for months! Since picking this up its been my go to everyday product for a pretty glow, it's very similar in shade to Benefit High Beam in that it has a pinky sort of iridescent undertone that really sparkles when the light catches on. For £3.00 this product is an absolute gem and I'll definitely be looking into the other two shades available as the quality is amazing, as expected from Makeup Revolution.

Another rediscovery for me this month has been the lovely Benefit Dallas box blush, a product that has been in my collection for years and I had completely forgotten about until early this year. The shade is very unique and I find this great for doubling up as a bronzer and a blusher, its got a very beautiful plum undertone so there are no chances of looking orange when wearing this one! The box blushes by Benefit are amazing and make fantastic gifts if you're ever stuck on ideas for a friend, I've had this one for years and its still going strong which makes great value for money.

Last but very not least is a product that deserves so much more love than I think it gets. If you haven't tried the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner then I urge you to head to Superdrug right now and pick it up! Eyeliner can be difficult to get right, and without the right tools for me I just don't even bother. I have tried numerous felt tip eyeliners from both the drugstore and higher end, all to which have not even compared to this little beauty, and at £2.99 I just can't speak enough praises about it.
