London Beauty Haul

Yesterday I hopped on a train to London, my absolute favourite place to go and one day I will live there! I only live approximately an hour away, so it's not a huge journey but I love it! I actually went to attend the QVC Beauty Bash, an annual beauty event that I've attended for a few years now, you are selected to attend or this year you could purchase a ticket. The idea of the event is for you to meet the presenters and founders of the beauty brands on QVC including Bare Minerals, Benefit, HD Brows and more. You also receive a wonderful goody bag full of products to try at the end of the day.

Whilst in London I felt it completely necessary to do a little makeup shopping, my local Boots and Superdrugs are pretty dull and are never fully stocked which I actually noticed was a similar story in London too, it's so disappointing when the things you want are out of stock! I had a fair few points stacked up on my Advantage card so thought I'd use those, but I was really looking for the new Soap & Glory Brow Archery. Unfortunately this wasn't available at the Soap & Glory stand so no doubt I'll pick this up online or at a different counter but I did pick up a few other things I've been lusting over for a while, and a repurchase which I am obsessed with.

Maybelline Brow Drama Dark Brown
This product has interested me since it's realease and although it's been around for a good while now I was yet to try it until now. I think I avoided it because I had the Benefit Gimme Brow and it seemed similar however it has its differences. I love the wand because its the perfect shape and size to be extremely precise but at the same time work quickly and effectively. I picked up the darkest shade I believe which is dark brown, mainly because the lighter shade looked more orange toned and that's something I really hate in a brow product! As you can see it's super pigmented and the shade looks like it will work nicely to match my hair colour.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Creamy Beige
I know, I know I definitely do not need any more of these babies, but when new shades of these are released I get a little excited. These little pots of joy caused a storm last year and are an absolute staple in my collection, I have nearly all of the shades, the only ones I don't have are the more brighter shades that I'm too scared to wear! I feel like this shade is going to be perfect, it's a matte shade in a gorgeous beige brown tone, it could be compared to the MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork. This shade is completely different to the others available, the texture is similar to the taupe shade but I can't wait to wear this just as a quick, everyday wash of colour on the lids.

Collection Does it all Waterproof Mascara Ultra Black
I have been pondering around this product for a while, after seeing Rosanna Pierce use it in a ton of her YouTube videos, I have wanted to try it but haven't because the formula is so dry compared to other mascara's I've tried. Anyway it always looks amazing on Rosi so I thought hey why not it was only £3.99 on special offer so I picked one up. I of course went for black and the waterproof version because my lashes are poker straight. Have you tried this mascara?

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer 1 Fair
Holy grail alert! I have become obsessed with this concealer, so much that I like it more than my MAC Pro Longwear concealer which has also been upped to £17! I don't mind spending money on a good product, and I do love that concealer but trust me that the Collection one right now is the one I run to, and it's only £4.19. At first I thought the consistency was too thick and it would completely clog my skin but boy was I wrong, it blends like a dream and even works under my eyes. Using a damp beauty blender I honestly cannot get enough of this like many other bloggers out there.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I've been using my eBay Beauty Blender dupe for a few months now and it's starting to tear, wear out and just generally feel a bit tired. I wanted to try something different just to change things up and I'd heard a lot about the sponge by Real Techniques. Having used many of the brands brushes and being super impressed I'm hoping for good things from this, stay tuned to hear about it in the future!
