The Body Shop Lovin'

A couple of months ago, I'd never tried anything from The Body Shop and now I am officially addicted. I have been sent some pretty amazing voucher codes in the past months, the particular code that stuck out to me this time was 50% off when you spend £50.00, meaning you could get your hands on £50.00 worth of products for £25.00!

I managed to bag myself four products which I was extremely happy with, I ordered online and within a few days the products were delivered to my door. I was super impressed with the fast delivery, which was free due to spending over a certain amount - even better.

I have been dying to try the Honey Bronzer £13.00 for such a long time, I've never picked it up because I thought it was a little pricey at first and I couldn't decide which shade to pick! The bronzer is available in four shades, in my opinion, and from searching Google for many swatches, shade one and three looked more orange, whereas two and four were more of a natural brown shade. I went for shade two as I am pretty pale and it seemed to suit my skin tone in the pictures I'd seen. I can officially say that this colour is beautiful, it is a completely matte beautiful brown shade that can be used for bronzing or contouring.

The other products I decided to purchase are skin care items, the first being the Aloe Gentle Exfoliator £10.00 which I only discovered through browsing the website. I particularly like the way you can filter products on the website, you can find the perfect range for your skin type or your skins needs. I hear so many good things about Aloe Vera and it being good for sensitive skin and redness, and I have pretty sensitive skin so it seemed well suited to me. I'm loving how gentle and soothing this product is, but it leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth after use. I have been using this once or twice a week, either in the shower quickly in the morning or during my evening skincare routine.

Then I fancied trying a new eye product, I'm starting to be concenred about wrinkles and I want to ensure I keep wrinkles at bay for as long as possible! I spotted the Nutrigranics Smoothing Eye Cream £15.00 and it really caught my eye, I like to spend a little more on eye products as I feel like this is my biggest concern when it comes to ageing. I really like the consistency of this, especially for under makeup, its very lightweight and similar in texture to a lotion which soaks straight into the skin. I can't say if this works or not, but I'll be sure to report back after I've used it for a few weeks!

Lastly I grabbed myself another pot of the Vitamin E Intensive Moisture Cream £13.00 which is my current moisturiser and I'm loving it. I picked this up to try because my Liz Earle Superskin had ran out and at £40.00 a pot, I wasn't feeling that! After nearly using a full pot of this moisturiser I can say I'm really enjoying it, so I thought I'd grab another whilst on offer. The moisturiser sinks into my skin beautifully and I can apply makeup straight away which makes getting ready a lot quicker, I hate those moisturisers that sit on your skin feeling sticky for ten minutes. My skin feels hydrated and stayed hydrated all day long, which is perfect for me.

What have you tried from The Body Shop?
